OLE Object prints as black box

I'm currently using CR XI and have a report that has two Excel OLE objects. I copied them over from another report and they both showed up and printed perfectly on my new report. However, now one of them shows up as a black box. See the attached photo below for example: the top object is fine while the bottom is the black box. The only thing I can think of is I created both of them in Excel 2003 and now I only have Excel 2007. And because I made a small change to the bottom one Crystal doesn't like 2007 so it won't show? I have deleted and copied it back over. I have deleted it and recreated it. I have saved diffenent versions and restarted Crystal... Anyone have any ideas?

Did you check the formatting conditions for format graphic->borders->background->color?

Yeah, it is not checked. One thing I did find is that if I "Export" the report then it comes out just fine but if I Print the report using our PDF printer, that is when I have the issue. The weir part is I have been printing using the PDF printer for the last three years without issue.
