Hi,

We use Lotus Notes as a customer’s database, where we have several tools. One of these is a form with a PowerPoint Ole Object in it, so we easily can work in PowerPoint and save it directly in Notes.

When working with PowerPoint docs we are experiencing a hanging / slow problem. Especially when coping and pasting allot from other MS Office products such as ex. excel. After a while (10 - 15 min.) the PowerPoint program begins to hang, and we are forced to close the program and save the doc in Notes. If we now open the document again we can work on it for 5 - 10 min. before the sequence repeats itself.

We have also noticed that the CPU speed is going through the roof, staying at 100% until we close and save the document.

The issue is still there, even if we work locally. So it can not be network or a server problem.

Anyone who knows why this is happening?
