OLE Idispatch Exception error 500

I'm trying to run a friend's application as an .exe. I get the following message "OLE IDispatch Exception code 500 from Visual Foxpro for windows. This property is read only..."
Clicking "Ignore" runs the program perfectly.
Any suggestions ?

This is caused by a bug in the program. You need to get the person who wrote the program to find the bug and fix it.

The first step would be for him to run the program in the VFP development environment. When the message appears, click Suspend. Then open the debugger. This will show the line of code that gave rise to the error, and other related information, including (possibly) the name of the read-only property.
