OLE DB via ATL Templates (updating data)

I access OLE DB ODBC drivers via the ATL Templates and ist's quite fun. But does anybody know what's about modifying any data by the update-method? I know, normally you have to do the Edit first and then the Update statement, but there is no edit-method implemented. Does anyone have a sample or a really good advise?
