I have a PC with Crystal Enterprise 9 and SQL Designer installed. In Crystal the connection dialog box shows the ole-db connection, but in SQl Designer I only see ODBC as options in the connection dialog box. How do I get the Designer dialog box to show the ole-db option?

Thank you.

Even Crystal does NOT suggest using the SQL Designer anymore, you should avoid it if possible.

Perhaps if you go into the ODBC selections you'll see a choice of ODBC for OLEDB.

Can you elaborate. If not the SQL Designer, where do you write your own SQL for a Crystal Report? What does Crystal recommend instead?
