I am using Crystal Reports 10 to run the reports created by vendor. The reports are created using OLE DB driver for SQL server 2000 from ctored procedures. When I refresh the report, it gives an error saying that "Failed to open a rowset;Details:ADO Error code::0x80040e14;Source:Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL server;Description:Syntax error converting from a character to unique identifier;SQL state:42000;Native error:8169" Can anyone help me why it is happening?

It sounds as though you have a data type issue, either in the driver or in the SP.

Does the SP run from Query Analyzer?

Try using an ODBC connection (use Database->Set Location), does it do the same?

Are you using GUIDs?

Without seeing the SP and the data types involved it's hard to help more.
