Oldnewbie - another focus problem!

Oldnewbie... the script you created for me works great except... it won't maintain the state of a combo box, select box, check box, or radio button (Flash components). I'm thinking that a user-defined function might do the trick but every function I've tried to use tells me it needs to be inside an on() function! If you have a chance could you take a look and point me in the right direction?

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

Sorry, my friend...

I don't know what's wrong with the link or the site. Nothing has changed and the permissions are all there. Anyway, I've decided to go another route by moving the alert box so that it doesn't cover any of the UI components - which is the only thing that was causing problems.

But thanks anyway for your time and trouble. I still owe you one!
