Older TN cards (on G650) when upgrading fromCM 6.x to 8.x - How has it worked out for you?

Greetings:

We're in the process of upgrading our system from Aura 6.x to 8.x. We've noted there are are great deal of TN cards which do not have recommended firmware available. What has been your experiences? We just do not have enough funds to 'GO G450' or 'GO IP/SIP.'

What do you mean do not have recommended firmware available? They can all be upgraded. There's no support or fixes for them anymore, but you're cetainly able to put the last firmwares on them.

Experience so far has been fine assuming you are already on a G650 with IPSI boards. The system is not fully supported in this case though so if the funds aren't there to "Go G450", then maybe there aren't funds to upgrade yet. If the MUST be supported, then you MUST upgrade off the G650s.

That being said, I've seen G650 and CM 8.x combos working with no trouble so far. There are so many TN boards though that your mileage may vary.
