My company has an old DOS base program that they have been using for years. Now only a few individuals actually access this program from the network, others typically access the data by sitting down at the machine. Now I haven't been here since the beginning but I was told by the previous admin that one of the conditions that had to be meet in order for users to access this DOS base program from the network was to have an older version of the Novell Client installed. I was just recently told that I needed to give a new user network access to the DOS base program, however they have the latest Client, 3.4. I can't seem to find an older version on our network and you can't seem to download anything but 3.4 for Windows 95/98. I've looked on one of the other machines and I can't seem to find the version information, I just see where it says Novell Client for Windows 95. I have version 3.31 but it's earlier then that. Does anyone know where I can find a earlier version? Thanks....

Older Novell Client...

If you have access to the server itself, you may be lucky enough to find the client you are looking for. I don't understand why a newer client wont work since most are backwards compatible. However, technology seems to rule and drive what works and what doesn't.
Let me look on my older Netware 4.11 cd's and see if I have something older that 3.1, if I do, I will either copy it and send it to you, or try to zip it up and send it.
