Hi,

We have a lot of old Power Edge servers with 2 GB system partitions so most of them have 600 mb free or less.

I would really like to avoid wiping them clean to upgrade to 2003. I don't want to have to re-do all the shares and application installs, etc...

Any way to avoid this or did the rest of you in my position have to bite the bullet and rebuild your Windows backend too?

Thanks,
Mike

Its better to do a clean install of W2K3. That way you have no residuals from NT 4.0.

Cheers.

That and there's no chance of installing 2003 with 600Mb free space without it running like a dog, i would agree with cmeagan656 and go with a clean install.
