Old RPG user

I have not user RPG for a decade. Now I would like to relearn it. And good site out there and any reliable compilers...Would also like the same info regarding Cobol

Well I am currently on a journey of re-discovery myself.
I am fortunate enougth to have access to an AS400 at my site so I can figure it out with a pile of carefully selected books.

I understand you can rent AS400 access at :-

There is also an emulator out there for $200 at

I have not used either method myself but I have them noted just in case I ever need them.

If I were you I would also get 'RPG IV Jump Start' Fourth edition by Bryan Meyers and 'Subfiles In ROG IV' by Kevin Vandever. Both books I have found very useful.

I registered and downloaded an emulator..everything worked great and was an easy setup as well...

Now If I only had a clue as to what to do...hehehehe
