Old Remote Desktop Client software

I just purchased an ARD 3. I installed on an Emac machine. I can remote access other Emacs, but when accessing the Mac Server, a message says "Old Remote Desktop Client software" version" version 2.2. Do I have to purchase another ARD 3 license for the server?

You should be able to upgrade the client right through the ARD console. At least, that's how it worked for upgrading 2.0 clients to 2.2. Check the menus for an upgrade option.
