old Premier 1224 date not changing Time changes though, but not date

Customer had default time and date couple of times last week in the morning upon arriving to office.
They changed time and date but then date never advances.
Is that a clock card type problem?
Any ideas? thank you

I would have guessed that the whole system defaulted. Those older system may have had a real clock unit (RCU) - at which point it would be bad. They're really living on borrowed time with that system....
 
The Executone Encore CX (circa 1990) was similar Goldstar-produced product. When RCU was missing, I THINK that it had the same phenomenon - clock would advance but date would always be wrong. Granted, it has been more than twenty years since I installed a system that required a separate RCU...
