Has anyone experienced finding old (dead pids)even thought they dont report "defunct" that eventually eats up you open files availability?
I have a server that after a script that runs remote ssh cmds to my production servers leaves the server eventually needing to be rebooted I can sort out why the parent pid isn't cleaning up properly? I thought perhaps its a memory issue or perhaps i need to had more file descriptors...any thoughts?
