Old Partner VS mail

A question. We installed 2 new 206 E cards on a double cabinet partner II. I installed them in the last 2 slots in cabinet 2. The customer has a old, I mean old VS circuit card 2-port mail, which is in the second carrier to the left of the processor, which is slot 3. They are having a problem with the lines in the last two 206 cards. When someone dials in on any line the lines on the last 2 206 cards flash red?

My question is do I need to move the VS mail to the last slot on carrier 2? Will this correct the problem.

if you mean the line show red flashes them just program them to ring

The manual says if you add more cards to a system with voicemail, you must relocate the voicemail to the last available slot after the new cards are installed. I hope this helps.
