I wrote an MSAccess app some years ago and haven't used MSAccess since.

I have installed the app on quite a number of PCs running WinXP.

I also can run it on my Desktop with WIN7 64bit.

When I installed it on another WIN 7 PC yesterday the app failed to start with an error shown on this line

Code:
 CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

I may have added the required MS Software to my PC in the past - I can't remember.

Can anyone point to what is needed to run this object under Win 7

Thanks Coldan

which version of MS Access?

Scripting.FileSystemObject is part of the windows scripting runtime, it should be on a windows 7 PC.

Go to the VBA IDE and check Tools|References. If any are flagged as missing, uncheck them; make sure you have a reference to some version of the Microsoft Scripting Runtime library checked.
