Hi.

I've got an old Mac II Classic with an sad face and a error code of

0000000F
0000777F

I found around the web that is an error about the software, not hardware.

I try a lot of times to read a boot floppy from floppy drive (800k), with disks of real 1.4 (sticked right hole) to appear like 800 disk.

I 've got some system images from version 1 to 7.5 downloaded from web. I use a program called rawWrite to extract the content of the images (after stuffit-expanded) to make real boot disk.

There's an Mac emulator for Windows (you need get a rom somewhere) and I tried the real disk to boot, Wow!, the Mac II Classic under Win XP. (SOFTMAC XP SUITE)

But when I try to boot in the real Macc II Classic I've got the same error code. The drive just seems like is not working. Turns on, after spinning a little bit, ejects the floppy and always is the same.

My HDD is OK, but I guess is the floppy drive, is damaged.

I don't know what to do. I just want to read the HDD information. Or install the system anyway.

Best Regards

Mario
