Old IQD files wont' work after XP Upgrade

Hi,

I was told that when upgraded to Microsoft XP, the old iqd's(developed not in windows Xp) of the any models will not work.

Can anyone throw some light on this?
Is there any way out to make the old iqd's work in windows XP?

Hi,

I never heard that... In a iqd the query is specified. If you used on your old OS a clienttool (for example SQL PLUS) you need to install this on the XP machine as well. Because impromptu uses a ODBC or native connection to query the database. If you have no connection to the database the catalog, reports and iqd's will not work.
