Old IP-DECT / new IP-DECT R4

Are there same known compatibility problems ?

A customer changed from IP-DECT and 3711 Handsets to the new IP-RBS R4 and still the same 3711 handsets.
They report problems, I would say 'no handover' possible. But from the docs it should been supported. I have not been on site to see it myself, I must say. So, probably it is something different.

Any one had similar problems?
Or did someone change IP DECT base stations at all?
Something we should have been aware of?

We use a 3711 on Dect R4 but we only have one base station so there is no handover at all
But it works fine.
