i am looking to get rid of and old G3 PBX. It has 2 SCC cabinets, 8 port line cards, tone cards, etc. It includes Definity Audix, a Sat Terminal and a Data Module. You can have it and you must be in the San Francisco Area or willing to pick it up. Just respond to me via this forum.

thx

You may want to look at selling this on EBAY. I know it sounds crazy, but Definity systems and parts (circuit packs, cabinets, you name it) can be found there.

If it is working system, I will come out from Denver to pick it up. Zebrabwbwbw at netzero dot com

do you still want this orypecos?

I sent you an email, but had not heard back.

thx

If I were to pay you to pack it up and ship it, would you be up for that?

My preference is to have somebody to pick it up and carry it out in person. If you can't pick it up near san fran, then i would be ok to have the shipping pre-arranged on
your dollar. It's a free system. thx.

the sooner, the better.

phonegoober, please give me dimensions, weight, and a zip code so that I could arrange shipping. Also, is this a working system, just in need of phones, and possibly interface cards? I have been looking to build a "lab" system to play with, and this sounds like a decent choice.

Jeremy,

there are 2 SCC cabinets, zip code is 94596-5092.
it has 8 port station packs (74Xx phones), sat terminal
and if you want a UPS.

Phonegoober,
Is there any way I can send you a private message to verify dimensions, weight, and a street address? I will probably have UPS Store/Mail Boxes Etc pick it up and box it for me. email me at jeremy parr at gmail dot com if you don't mind.

Thanks

Would you consider donating this PBX to the US Department of Labor in San Francisco. It is a tax right off!!! The POC is Monica Beary at 415-975-4023 tell her Ron Jarvis sent you. This is just what she is looking for. Thanks, Ron

Phonegoober, on second thought just call me directly at 312-353-6906, thanks, Ron

Ron,

We tried donating it to several groups in the San Fran Area 1st, but no sucess. to get it to run for another customer, avaya will charge to get the software/RTU moved to another name. The system can be re-used, but if you want avaya support, it will cost some money. Would they be willing to pick it up at the site?

I am awaiting an answer from Jeremy and will advsie.

Yes, we would be willing to pick it up. Depending on how it is currently set-up we may be able to get it going as is. Is this system functional? If so, what Release software is it running? Do you have logins and passwords for the PBX and Audix? Thanks, Ron

SirRono

SirRono,

I can't remember the release. It might be around 8.
I have generic password i setup prior to shutting it down.
This system was functional up to about a month ago.
we took out the 24port station packs, T-1 cards, etc.
it still has the 8 port station packs and does not include any phones. somebody can go to our site and look at it.

thx

Phonegoober, I can pick it up as soon as next monday or tuesday. If Sirrono doesn't want it I can pick it up.

In the future everything will work...
