My boss has old ethernet cables in the walls of his basement office. He had them installed during some kind of remodeling many years ago
As far as I know they've never been used. He doesn't have any PC cards with RG 58 fittings, but those are the fittings on the cables that stick out of the walls!
My question is: Where can I find PC cards that have RG 58 fittings that can be installed in a PC with Windows Me and can they be attached to a dial-up internet connection?

Best way, you google for a NIC 10Base2.
Worst case you must use media converters on each end of the cable.
Best way, change the cables, twisted pair offers 100Mbit speed.
