i have an old ethernet combo card dont know offhand what make it is but it is an isa card . is there any home of getting this to work under linux.

kudzu doesnt seem to pick it up at all

i also want to set up a linux server on a p120 with 32mb ram
what is the least amount of space linux can take up with all the features of a server eg. sshd , httpd , samba etc
as i only have 1.2gb space.

swap partition = 2 x ram size ? currently 64b
how big does boot partition need to be ? currently 14mb

Hi,

Some ISA cards are supported - see . It would obviously help to know what card that was but if its plug-and-pray you could try the pnpdump routine described here --> .

Swap should indeed be around twice physical ram - more really for 2.4 series kernels. You could maybe get away with a slightly smaller /boot partition but it all depends on how many kernel images you want to have available at any one time.

Regards
