Old Client Won't Go Away...

Trying to upgrade Windows 98 SE system to Novell client 3.32 from 3.10 but when installation reaches the "uninstall old client" sometimes I get a fatal error...and sometimes the system reboots itself. Using the uninstall by itself gives the same results. Tried with network disconnected, logged off, etc etc. Any ideas? Thanks!

Try running uninstall using unc32.
