I have a customer with a TDE200 and Spectrum PRI. They are in a bit of a dyer situation where they need proof that a call had come into their system. For one reason or another, there are some legal and monetary ramifications at stake. Incoming call log for the extension and the ICD Group were both set to 10 previously, and changing that to 100 does not retroactively give that data. Furthermore, when I tried SMDR with Putty, it only went back to earlier today (there are a decent amount of calls inbound and outbound at this company). Today is 2/27/25 and we are looking for a call that happened on 2/11/25- we also know the caller's number and name, the DID he called, and the extension that answered.
Now the customer is currently trying to work with Spectrum to see if they can provide that proof, which they should be able to do, but we all know carriers
. Meanwhile, BTS said that SMDR is really the only way via the PBX and that has not gone even close to far back enough.
So, my question here is: Does anyone know any other way that we can retrieve this call record via the PBX? I don't know if any of the transferable files would give any record?
My guess is that they're at the mercy of Spectrum. But certainly if anyone else knows anything else, please let me know.
Thank you!
