is there any Market for Older 1A2 stuff Like 400 series Line cards, Western electric 620A panels, ITT's 512 KSU, 501, 601 Etc series not to mention the Various 6 btn, 10 Btn, 20 & 30 Button sets of the Desk and wall mount variety by Western/ATT/ITT when you get this in trade in, are most of you putting it in the Junk Heap or is there some other "Buyer"- Auction site,

I occasionally see stuff on eBay, and several vendors still list the stuff in their catalogs, but hard to imagine it's being sold.

Anyone know where to get on-line docs for 1A2? I'd love to have them for nostalgia.

its a supply and demand thing .huge supply.. little demand.

I do know what you mean Skip555,
If you want to Buy a 1a2 manual it looks like Quick-manuals.com still lists them for $15 doesn't look like anybody Else does, it looks like I'm Going to have some "new/Old" door Stops, or Perhaps I might let somebody take them "Apart" with a BFH, putting what left in the proper Re-cycling Bin

Save the power supplies as they are great for ring generators for systems that need it for single line stations.

the intercoms are also good for "specials"

ive used 1a2 intercoms along with ringing power supplies (they dont all offer ring voltage } to power up some in house intercoms where access to outside lines wasnt needed or wanted and the nice thing is you can use a cheepo phone

macphoneguy please contact me aldbt654@yahoo.com I have a question about you 1a2 phones.... THANKS Jake

I had a collection that found its way to a dumpster.
Wasn't worth the time or effort.

Macphoneguy said If you want to Buy a 1a2 manual it looks like Quick-manuals.com still lists them for $15, but checking there, they only have some ITT manuals, and not much. $15 get you a 27 page guide. I used to have the old Bell System Practices books, about 200 pages each, with detailed illustrations etc. Wish I had kept them.

If anyone runs across these, paper or electronic, drop me a note please. << john PREFERS NO SPAM jshelton com >>. Thanks for supporting nostalgia. If I get paper, someday I could run it through my ADF scanner and post somewhere.

Anything you find will be at least 15 to 20 years old.
