OLAP Write Back Functionality 1

Hello,

I am looking at the write back functionality within SQL Analysis Server.

I would like to know if there is any GUI (such as Crystal Analysis, Business Objects etc) which will allow you to write back new values and update the cube without the need for any coding ?

Also can some one point me in the direction of some useful guides on the Internet, as I have been unable to find any so far.

Microsoft distributes for free a "write back enabled" workbook for free, or you can use BO's "Business Query MD".
Don't know about the other tools, but I think that there are many others available.
Note that you can improve Microsoft's examples a lot with VBA macro, I've personally added ability to show the actual MDX query and HTML Actions.
