IQub Announces OLAP Browser v.4
IQub, a Canadian provider of business intelligence software solutions, has announced the latest release in their line of business intelligence and reporting products, OLAP Browser v.4, an on-demand, point-and-click analysis and reporting solution for non-technical SQL Server users that turns raw data into relevant information supporting business decisions. "Anybody who makes decisions, from the clerk right up to the CEO, would find this product useful," John Chalker, director of Business Development at IQub, told 5 Minute Briefing during a private interview. "You don't need to rely on IT to get the information you need."
OLAP Browser Pro gives users the ability to connect to MS-OLAP, Analysis Server cubes and local .cub files to perform Web-based analysis. The OLAP Browser leaves only a small footprint on the desktop and installation takes less than a minute, according to the company. "Essentially, it's a Microsoft look and feel product," Chalker related. "The way we laid it out is very conducive to someone used to that kind of environment," he said. Pricing is on a per seat/desktop basis and the software is available to download for a free trial. For more information, click here.
