I am trying to setup a webserver with MS OLAP Server installed on it. Then I am using Excel files with pivot tables that access the cubes on the Web/OLAP Server. I am trying to have users go to my site and click on the link to open the excel file in their browser with the pivot table. When the excel file tries to connect to the OLAP Server it comes up with the following error.

"Unable to open connection.
Cannot Connect to server 'OLAP Server Name'.
OLAP server error: The operation failed due to network problems."

When I use this excel file locally on the machine it works just fine. Any ideas?

The internet connection works only with the Enterprise version, then you need client libraries installed on the client PC (redinst.exe on the CD: 8Mb) :(
