OL - Error Occurred While Checking Spelling

I have OL 2000 installed on Win98 OS. The spell check was giving me this error message everytime I try to spell check.
It had been working great for a few years until a few weeks ago. I went to MS website and try their "cure" which is to intall the proof again. That did not work.

I would appreciate any other suggestions.
