OL 2003 Find

A User is having problems using "Find" in Outlook 2003. It does work for certain words but not it all, it seems to struggle to find certain emails even though they exist in the inbox. The user heavily relies on the find option to do her work. I have done some research but cannot find much help. Does anyone have any ideas? Would an upgrade to OL 2007 help?
