OKI ML 3321 help

i have an oki ML 3321 printer with its drivers on CD
i install it on windows 2000 prof and on win98
the installation was passed without any problem, but
when i print a page of test it does not work(it print
unreadable characters), i did an auto test for the printer
it give a good result i don't know if the problem
comming from the driver
any help will be appriciated.

Windows has its own drivers for this printer, so you should not need to use the installation disk.uninstall the printer then Go to printers\add printer\local printer\LTP1,then scroll through the list untill you find oki\elite 3321. ensure you select microline emulation as there are also drivers there for oki\elite 3321 IBM emulation.Printers that wont print after instalation or print garbled characters is an indication of a bad driver.
( if unsure of which emulation you should be using it will do no damage to try both the Microline first then the IBM )
