Okay sound problem. I have imported a perfect sounding mp3 ini flash..., sounds great in Sound Forge and even tested it in Winamp. Total file size is 98k. The file is 16khz at 16 bit mono. When I play it in the library window in Flash it sounds static, cracked and generally screwed up. When I drag it to the timeline and test the movie.. I have the sound set to stream, or event, sounds equally as messed up. I set the properties of the mp3 in its window to default quality and tried setting it to mp3 16 bit, fast and tried best. I also tried setting the properties in the pubish .swf settings. In there I tried the same as before, 16 bit mono, fast.

What am I missing or is it yet another flash bug?

Here's my 2 cents worth!

In the library sound compression should be set to Mp3 and the bit rate and quality set to the equivalent of the original file. You can allways try to uncheck the stereo to mono box, set the bit rate to 160 and quality at Best... But make sure your not overriding these settings in the Publish settings under the html tab. Uncheck that box or at least set the same settings you set in the library. Regards,
