Okay, lets step back in time a little

I have an old DOS workstation loading VLM's, we recently upgraded all of our backbone to a switched network using 3548XL switches . Now my VLM workstations error out before the switch port comes completely up :-(. Without placing these systems on a HUB is there a switch that I can place in the NET.CFG file that will force the VLM.EXE file to wait a little longer before it gives up looking for a server? Any help with this would be appreciated.

Don't know the answer myself, but I found the switches for net.cfg and I put them in a word2000 doc.

http://personal.atl.bellsouth.net/atl/d/e/deans/Images/net.cfg .doc

(copy the shortcut if it dosen't work and replace the "%? with a space.)
