Ok, I'm sure this has been asked on here before but I didn't see it in pages 1 thru 4. What's your opinion on the best personal firewall software? Have cable modem connection on a pc and want to add firewall protection.... thanks.

. For the short answer, ZoneAlarm seems to be the best pkg. The basic pkg is free and the higher end ZoneAlarm Pro is reasonably priced.

I'd second Jeff on this, I run Zone Alarm Pro having tried others. It really is good!

Yes, for personal use, you can't beat a free firewall that actually works...ZoneAlarm. My suggestions are what I would try myself. If incorrect, I welcome corrections to my rather limited knowledge. Andy.
