Ok,

I have a HD with two partitions/volumes on it. Both have 2k server on them, the other installed and the other restored from backup. How can I make the disk boot from the restored volume instead of the installed one? And don't ask why they reside on the same HD. =)

Do some research on boot.ini file. It's the means responsible of choosing which OS on which VOL to load at boot (or present boot menu)

Computer->Properties->Advance->Start-Up and Recovery

Here's one for you noeleon. Also, while your in there sen7inel, make sure you uncheck the box that says automatically re-boot. You won't believe the problems that can cause you. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
