oinstall vs. dba

Hello,

Is there anything wrong with installing Oracle 10g on a Sun system and using the traditional dba group for everything rather than also using oinstall?

hello,

It´s recommended to install oracle with the "oinstall" group.
This group is used to separate the Installionfiles from the Databaseadministration ones.
