Hi,
bad thing. Restore the TSM Database from the last "correct" backup you have of it.

Maybe you loose only a few saves and not all of them.

I hope you did the tsm db backup. If you used to make a backup as usual on tape you will do the following:

1. Stop the tsm server by entering "halt"
2. Issue the following command:

dsmserv restore db todate=today totime=now

(explanation: TSM will automatically request the latest tape used for db backup and restore them)

If you know the volume used for backup you could even restore directly from them:

dsmserv restore db devclass=devclass volumes=yourvol

If you did a dump of the database using the "unloaddb" command you will have to use the "loaddb" command as follows:

1. check wich deviceclass was used for
2. Check wich volumes were written
3. Stop the tsm server by issuing "halt"
4. Restore them issuing the following command:

dsmserv loaddb devclass=devclass volumes=volume1, volume2

Hope it helps and good luck.
