OH GOD IM GOIN CRAZY !!!!!!!

ok heres the system:
HP pavilion 4445
onboard rage II graphics
motherB ASUS MEC VM 1.0( PDF manual is useless)

Installed first time: no problems
Accidentally came out(power was off,yeah i know-dope)
Now it wont re-install
this board has jumper for onboard video

re-install process(proper one,as per HP)
1)complete reinstall of onboard drivers
2)remove display adapter and associated program in ADD/REMOVE progs
3)install VGA basic drivers
4)uncheck "exists in all hrdwre profiles box"
5)shutdown
6)install card and switch jumper to disable onboard
now i assume POST doesnt recognize(1 long beep, 2 short beeps)

I've tried different combos and no go.
I also have removed the programs relating to the new video card in ADD/REMOVE progs.
I'm dumbfounded PLEASE HELP IMMEDIATELY !!! thank you!!!

Oh yeah, The card is a 64Mb AGP(bios set to AGP)connect3d, ATI Radeon 7000 DDR tv-out DVI
