My rule of thumb for MAX OFO: If it starts to fail from hitting the max, increase 10% until it stops failing, then increase it 10% one more time.
Have had great success with that meathod in the past. You might also think about increasing the initial size 10% at the same time. That lessens the number of time the OFO needs to increment.
