OFO crashes Win2K server

I'm using BE 8.5 on a Win2K server with Service Pack 2 installed. If I install the Open File Option, the server crashes and reboots an hour or so into the backup. If I uninstall OFO, backups are hit-and-miss on reliability.
Have used several different settings on max. and min. log files settings, but to no avail.

Any suggestions? Help on this will be greatly appreciated!

There was a patch from Veritas for a simular problem with NT 4.0. Maybe it effects w2k too?

Not that I can find on Veritas' Web site. The only OFO patches I saw are for earlier versions.
