Offline print queue

I have a computer with an offline printer with over 4000 in the print queue. I tried to delete them by right clicking on the printer and clearing all files. The computer just seems to hand. Also the print queue are coming for remote redirector. My wife accesses this remotely.

Can someone help me please.

Open up a command prompt (Start> Run> type cmd). Then type the following, pressing enter after each line....

net stop spooler
del /q "%systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.*"
net start spooler

See if that will get rid of them.
