A work station HDD recently died. After replacing and reloading Windows XP, Office 2003 etc then joining to the Domain (SBS 2003 R2) the normal user for the work station can not open Outlook. We are getting an error message stating that the specified path for the offline file (on the C: drive )can not be found and will not go any further until a path is selected via the Offline Folder Settings. How/where do i find a file to replace it or is there a registry entry i can change so outlook will open fully so i can set the account up again?

Thanks for any help

This may be a stupid question 58 but what profile properties are you referring to, User Profiles on the local machine or some thing on the server?

BTW. If your referring to changing the Exchange Cached Mode in Outlook I cant because Outlook will not allow me to do any thing (will not open fully) until I change the path for the .ost file.

noveyron, Thanks for the point in the right direction. That took care of my issue. All is well.

:) Cool. (Thanks to Pat really though, he came up with the answer)
