What is a good alternative or practice to sync offline folders from server. We are concerned that users might replace server files with incorrect files when they login.

Does anyone have a beter solution or best pratice for synchronising offline files?

Are you saying you have multiple users all syncing to the same location on a server?

Normal syncing will simply keep the most recent file and is not a problem.

Offline folders should not be used for items shared and edited my multiple users. It should just be their own personal space like if you redirect their Mydocuments folder to the server or something.

You should disable on the server the availability of offline folders for other shares to prevent users from messing up the shared network space.

Yes multiple users sync to same locations. Users enable and configure this themselves thats why i'm concerned about the use of offline files & sync to our files servers.
