Strange one here...I am setting up offline folder use for a user who has office xp running on a W2K laptop...It synch's fine but for some reason, only synch's all messages up to a certain date...In this case 12/4/02...In the error log, I get the following message: "Error synchronizing folder [80004005-501-50a-550] The client operation failed. MS Exchange server info store. For more info click link below: etc etc etc"...I've tried everything...Re-creating the ost, manually synching folders, re-installing outlook, repairing outlook, checking settings to make sure it isn't set to only create emails from a certain date etc etc..No joy whatsoever...Any suggestions welcome!

Offline folder synch error in Outlook XP

This may be a problem with the Anti Virus program running on the Exchange server from what I have read in newsgroups. You may want to test this out by scheduling some downtime, stop and disable the anti-virus on the server, and reboot. Upon reboot, the anti-virus will be stopped and test synching again. joegz
