Offline folder in outlook 2002

Hi!
I have a major problem when trying to synchronize offline folders with exchange server. I recive this:

10:42:41 Synchronizing Folder 'Inbox'
10:42:42 3 item(s) added to offline folder
10:42:42 Error synchronizing folder
10:42:42 [80004005-501-50A-550].
10:42:42 The client operation failed.
10:42:42 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

This is just a part of the errorr messege.
Some folders syncs correctly and some partially. Mostly it is problems with inbox, sent items and deleted items. Every time i try i get different results, sometimes the inbox can add 5 items, next time 2 and so on.

I have tried to recreate the OST-file, same result.

Any idea, please....

Hi Bjornis,

Firstly you have to check if there is any e-mails open while synchronization is running. Sometimes while you have an e-mail open and the attachment open you may receive this error. If the error occurs with different users and it happens every time you synchronize then I have bad news for you. If the latter is the case, then it is caused by corrupted LV's or orphaned LV's. Microsoft has got a very good write up about it. Check Knowledge Base article: Q181824. Make sure you make a copy of the priv.mdb before you do anything mentioned in the article. Also first run the first part and see if it corrupted and orphaned LV's. I had excactly the same problem and mannaged to sort it out like that. I hope this helps.
