Hi All,

A user has reported errors when synchronising offline files.

The user is has setup offline files on his network drive, which is mapped as G: on his PC. The share is \\ourserver\user$

I have examined the logs in Event Viewer. Here is what I found.

Does anyone know how to 'repair' the Offline Files cache?

There does not appear to be much information on Google or MS TechNet. Also, the user is receiving errors stating something about "Cannot synchronise - Still in Last Known Configuration Mode"...

HELP!!

Event Type: Error

Have you tried to re-initialize the cache. Goto My computer, tools, folder options. Offline Files.

Hold Ctrl and Shift down and click on Delete Files. This will prompt you to re-initialize your cache, and then reboot. you can now start a fresh resync.
