My boss synchronises his documents folder to another desktop machine in the office using offline folders - fine, no problems.
He recently went to the States and hooked up to a WiFi network which installed client software for a Netware server. This in turn, altered his profile and disabled offline files in his settings.
The documents, my pictures - everything vanished out of his document folder.
Can anyone explain why this would be? Surely it wouldn't just 'remove' the files stored in a synchronised folder if offline files was disabled - or would it?
Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.
