Hi,
I have setup folder redirection for our laptops users "My Documents" folders so that their data is held centrally and can be backed up.
However a lot of them stay connected to the network via a vpn connection most of the day.
Since setting them up it appears their files seems to take a lot longer to open, presumably because the laptop detects it is connected to the server and opens a server copy of the file (therefore downloading the file over the vpn link before opening it, as opposed to opening the cached copy).
Is there a way to change this behavour so when they are connected to the vpn it opens the file from the chached copy?
Thanks
Darren
