Hello Everyone!

I need some help to access an offline database using the Expert Access to connect in a archive .pro.
I'm not a advanced user on Hipath 4000 so I would like to know if is possible open a database when I'm not connected in the Hipath 4000.

Don't know if I was very clear so let me know if you have additional info.

Tks!

Leonardo S.

Hi Leonardo,
It is possible to download from the HiPath 4000 a file called a REGEN file.
That file would have most of the telephony database stored in it.

Do you currently log on to the HiPath ?

I'm sure it might be possible to download the actual database as well using file transfer, but the database is in Informix, which is an outdated dinosaur database that has been around since at least the early 80's when I was actively using it for things (Informix "Smart System" was one of the first "office suites" out there and was for a unix environment).

It's not clear to me exactly what you're trying to do, but assuming the Assistant DB is good enough, which is much safer than accessing the RMX, then the api2hipath app which is downloadable from Assistant will allow you to export the current config into text files.
