I am running Exchange Server 2003 with SP2. I'm also running Outlook 2007 as a client. About a month ago, I started getting errors in my Outlook Sync Issues folder:
"14:48:03 Synchronizer Version 12.0.4518
14:48:03 Synchronizing Mailbox 'My Name'
14:48:03 Done
14:48:03 Microsoft Exchange offline address book
14:48:03 0X8004010F"
When I click Tools\Send/Receive\Download Address Book I get this in the the Send/Receive Progress window:
"Task 'myname@mydomain.com' reported error (0x8004010F): 'The operation failed. An object cannot be found.'"
I had one of my Tech's try the same thing and he sync's the Offline Address Book just fine (he is using Outlook 2003).
I tried creating a new profile to rule out my current one, but I still get the same messages with the new profile. Everything else works just fine with my Outlook.
I created a new Offline Address List on my exchange server, waited for the nightly maintenance to happen and now see the new Offline Address List is available.
I've closed and re-opened my Outlook client, but I STILL get the same message. If I go to another computer with Office 2007 on it, create a profile and run my Outlook session there, I have no problem, so it appears it is something on my main computer.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
